To the north are the 13,000 foot snowcapped La Plata Mountains; to the west are Sleeping Ute and Mesa Verde National Park; to the south you can see into East Canyon, Shiprock and all the way into Northern New Mexico and Arizona; to the east are views towards Pagosa Springs and the Weminuche Wilderness area.
